We’ll meet on the first floor of Gorgas at 2:30 PM on January 27th to take the bus to go to the Law Library for a tour that will begin at 3:00 PM. Please come with questions. The librarians there are really excited about us coming!

Please join us in room 532 on 11/18! We’ll discuss our next activity, philanthropic projects, and we’ll try to start collecting dues. Remember, it’s $10 per person unless you choose to join the national SLA. Then, it’s only $5 per person. The national SLA costs $40 for students.

Guest Speaker: Shelia Snow-Croft
UA SLA is hosting Shelia Snow-Croft, the Public Health Coordinator of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine for the Southeastern Atlantic Region. She’ll be discussing a range of topics from PubMed to how to find a medical librarian job. We’ll meet in room 503 November 9th at noon until 12:55. If you can’t be here in person, you can join us on WIMBA. Hope you can attend!
